One Team, One Dream!

Un Equipo, Un Sueño...in Spanish that means One Team, One Dream. For those of you that had the opportunity to witness Spain winning the World Cup, you got to see a beautiful example of a team focused on staying with their system and teamwork, in spite of whatever style they encountered from their opposition.

What can be learned from this? In order for a group to become a team, there are four key elements:

1. Shared goals
2. Interdependence
3. Commitment
4. Accountability

What the Spanish team did in 50 days of being together was to demonstrate what is possible, when these four elements are practiced.

  1. It also helps that 7 of them at the time, six of them on the first team - Pedro, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, Piqué and Puyol play for Barça. They have been playing together for many years.

How many international teams do you know have the same fortune ?
